Dana-Farber/New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology
After 25 years of collaboration, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, PA (NHOH) are pleased to announce a new, strengthened collaboration to provide advanced care to Southern New Hampshire residents. In December of 2008, Dana-Farber will open a new medical oncology unit in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The new unit, Dana-Farber/New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology, is a satellite facility of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Londonderry, NH.
Built on a longstanding relationship with NHOH, a nationally recognized medical oncology group, Dana-Farber's new unit will be located within the Elliot Medical Center at Londonderry. Dana-Farber's medical services will be staffed by physicians and other providers from NHOH.
NHOH is an excellent physician practice, providing the best possible care in a community setting. Dana-Farber is an internationally renowned and highly respected comprehensive cancer center providing cutting-edge cancer care and research. Combining the resources, experience, and expertise of Dana-Farber and NHOH will enhance overall care for our patients while preserving the goals and values of both organizations in a community setting.
The unit will offer clinical trials, pain management and palliative care, genetic screening, a resource room, social work, nutritional counseling, and a survivorship program. Other services provided within the unit will include a boutique and complementary therapies.
